George Gitchel, Ph.D.

Dr. Gitchel is personally responsible for research and development of a diagnostic test that differentiates more than thirty neurologic disorders with accuracy considerably better than a specialist clinician. That research, conducted at Veterans Affairs, included thousands of subjects with various severities of TBI, and is capable of classifying and stratifying those injuries to a very high degree.

He holds a patent on this technology which was licensed to industry and later recieved FDA Breakthough Device Designation. It is now used to detect concussion and head injury by multiple professional organizations including the NFL, NHL, MLB, US Soccer, US Olympic team, and numerous elite NCAA sports programs around the country.
