George Gitchel, Ph.D.

Dr. Gitchel is personally responsible for research and development of a technique capable of differentially diagnosing more than thirty neurologic disorders with accuracy considerably better than a specialist clinician. That research, conducted at Veterans Affairs, included thousands of subjects with various severities of TBI, and is capable of classifying and stratifying those injuries to a very high degree.

He holds a patent on this technology. The related RightEye Vision System — developed with Drs. Paul Wetzel and Mark Baron at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center — received FDA Breakthrough Device designation.

Through a partnership with RightEye he can record a subject anywhere in the United States on a cloud-connected device network, often without travel and with a 24-hour turnaround. He will also travel to the plaintiff when the case requires it.
