The problem
Potentially life-altering head injuries still arrive in court as qualitative stories — a diary of symptoms, conflicting reports, a normal MRI, and a fight about credibility. We offer expert testimony based purely on data that is objective, quantifiable, repeatable, and statistically analyzed. Oculomotor recording can support a real injury, refute one that is not, and stratify every level from normal to severe TBI.
Based on results of the largest research study on TBI conducted in history, LIMBIC-CENC. Dr. Gitchel was the founding eye movement researcher at the lead scientific site for the study. This ongoing nation-wide study funded for $145M to date, will record massive datasets annually - for life - from each of the thousands of enrolled subjects.
Eye movements are not a pain diary. Opinions and subjective reports don't factor in. Coaching cannot possibly produce a convincing TBI recording — and trying often proves the opposite.

How a file moves
The expert
George trained as a biomedical engineer. For twenty years he has studied the neurophysiological underpinnings of how the brain moves the eyes, including many thousands of subjects and covering more than thirty neurological conditions or injuries. Retrospective meta-analyses revealed that eye movement recording was accurate in differentiating those diseases in 94% of cases. A good specialist it typically accurate in 75-80% of cases and a general neurologist only achieve 50/50 accuracy.
